Funding and targets
Our funding criteria and application processes are 'equality-proofed' to make sure that funds are awarded solely on merit.
We actively encourage people from groups that are currently under-represented in the industry (minority ethnic groups, disabled people and women in certain grades) to apply for our filmmaking funding. We support training initiatives to help these groups to meet our selection requirements.
Our Premiere Fund, New Cinema Fund and Development Fund all aim to meet specific diversity targets for applications and awards.
