International Festival Sales Support
Every year we support 10-20 British films at key international festivals through our International Festival Sales Support Scheme (IFSS).
IFSS aims and awards
IFSS aims to:
- Encourage successful distribution and box office performance of UK films around the world.
- Promote UK talent, services and skills.
- IFSS provides minimum grants of £1,500 to eligible films. Larger awards are sometimes made to applicants who have already put in place extensive promotional campaigns to support their film internationally.
How IFSS works
IFSS applications are assessed by our International department. Awards covering the Toronto International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival are made in conjunction with our US office.
IFSS runs until 31 March 2008.
